Colombo Purple Secure Third Place at ILT 2026

3rd Place - Team Colombo Purple

The Indoor League Tournament (ILT) 2026, organised by the Ceylon Indoor Cricket Association (CICA) with UPRO Colombo as the official venue partner, concluded its third-place playoff with Colombo Purple producing a commanding victory over Colombo Black.

Colombo Black batted first but were kept under pressure throughout the innings by the disciplined Colombo Purple bowling attack, finishing on 77 runs.

Needing 78 for victory, Colombo Purple batted with confidence and controlled the chase from the outset. They comfortably surpassed the target and ended their innings on 113 runs, securing third place in ILT 2026.

The victory marked a strong finish to Colombo Purple’s campaign, while Colombo Black concluded the tournament after a determined run to the finals weekend.
