ABOUT
Indoor cricket in Sri Lanka began developing in the late 1990s and early 2000s, alongside the global expansion of the sport under the World Indoor Cricket Federation (WICF).
The sport gained major recognition when Sri Lanka hosted the 2004 Indoor Cricket World Cup in Colombo, marking a significant milestone in establishing the country as a competitive force on the international stage.
Since then, Sri Lanka Indoor Cricket has grown steadily, with structured domestic competitions, national development programs, and increasing participation across all levels.
